section of our drive.
I wonder if that has been done to provide a sharp contrast in an area with few colors.

stretch of highway.

This is a harsh &
unforgiving
environment.

the next 4 miles.

It's a narrow two-lane road.
We watch for Horses.
This region has Horse Farms.

Real Estate signs.

Campground Check-In.
Thousand Trails Campgrounds and Resorts allow incoming RVers to select from vacant campsites.
Eric & I chose Site A 32.
It has full hookups.
Besides water and sewer connections, we have 30 amp electricity. The voltage is holding steady at 123. Our DirecTV Dish connected to TV satellites. The reflections on the windshield are one of the many mountains that surround Pio Pico RV Resort and the cabins across the road. The building behind us is the Laundry.
Being surrounded by mountains, the cell phone connection at this Thousand Trails Park is very poor. RVers need to go to one of two spots to make calls. In case of emergency, RVers are to go to the Security Booth and report the situation to staff.
Jamul is about 8 miles north and Chula Vista is 11 miles west of this Campground. It's frustrating to be so close to populated areas and not have reliable cell service.
Internet Service is non-existent at Pio Pico RV Resort and Campground. Eric is paying $15.00 per week for internet access.
