Southwest to Our Destination: Yuma, Arizona





Today's 4 hour drive
starts on Interstate





Another beautiful day...

Another winding road...






the hillsides.










There''s a 6% Grade
for the next 2 miles.





We are in Saguaro Cactus
Country.










A Gila Monster decorates
the sloping embankment
near an overpass.










Loop 303 takes Eric & me
around Phoenix.






Palm Trees decorate the
bridge abutment wall.










We follow the sign for




This "Franken-Palm" is a
disguised cell phone tower.




Exit 112 will take us to











I drive while Eric takes
pictures.





We pass a Solar Panel Farm








Yuma is 66 miles away....




This train is hauling two
engines plus cargo.





We are driving toward
the Gila Mountains.



Interstate 8 takes us through
the mountains.

Look at that rock cut!





We leave the highway
at Exit 112.




We arrive at Desert Paradise
 RV Resort, just two blocks
in from Interstate 8.













Eric & I settle into our
corner campsite with
water, 50 amp electric
service & a sewer
hookup.




Our DirecTV satellite dish provides us with the TV channels that we rely on for news and entertainment.
