Southwest... Again? Yes Again.... to Gaffney, South Carolina

Our first stop is at the
Diesel fuel.

We are getting 3 cents off per
gallon with our Kroger
Rewards Card.

Eric & I continue our drive

Clouds creep down the
mountainsides.

This motorhome catches
my eye....

This Ambassador by
Holiday Rambler has
a custom paint job.

Autumn is coming to
western Virginia.

Rock Cuts along this
mountainous drive

I wonder where the
tons of debris went.

Cattle graze along the
highway.

I caught this pic of a limo.

This type of car is a rarity
seen on interstates.

We leave Interstate 81 for
Interstate 77 at Exit 81
toward Charlotte.

 A confluence of 81s...

Entering Fog Advisory
Area

That sign was dead on...

a safety feature in this steep
mountainous terrain.

No one wants to use it.

Welcome to North Carolina

The Troutman Water Tower

Eric & me around
Charlotte.

Exit 10 B takes Eric & me
back to Interstate 85
South.

Welcome to South Carolina

Gaffney is just 9 miles away.

The median is a tough place to
have car issues.

Exit 91 to South Carolina
Route 11 & Gaffney....

Our 2004 Winnebago Vectra's chassis was built here in Gaffney.  Eric and I toured the Freightliner Factory and went to Camp Freightliner here in 2013. We return regularly for routine maintenance.
