The 92nd Annual Feast of San Gennaro in Little Italy

Little Italy is bustling with
visitors for the Feast of
Saint Gennaro, born around 272 AD, is the Patron Saint and Protector of Naples.  The ten day feast in Little Italy occurs each September.





Crowds walk the streets,
looking over the vendors'
offerings.










People visit the Shrine of
San Gennaro.






The Statue was part of a procession from Saint Patrick's Old Cathedral Most Precious Blood Church to its public display area.





They come to say a prayer,
leave an offering.












Local businesses and vendors set up stalls to serve visitors to the Feast.





Daiquiris are available.









Casa Bella built an extended
"porch" to seat diners.









Visitors have a choice of
Sangri, Wine, Beer &
Water at this booth.















Fish Salad, Fried Shrimp &
Baked Clams.









Just Cannolis
Why?
They're the Best










There are games to play....

Eric & I stop for 
Chardonnay....












... before starting our walk back to Brookfield Place Ferry Terminal.
