Beers @ 7th Wave Restaurant in Rockport, Massachusetts

Eric & I walk to 7th Wave
 Restaurant for beers.

Eric and I had dinner here in 1998, when the restaurant was the Hannah Jumper.  At that point, Rockport had been a dry town for over 100 years.

Hannah Jumper was an outspoken Prohibition Advocate.  On July 8, 1854 Hannah led a group of supporters, armed with hatchets, to break open kegs, jugs and casks of whatever Spirits they could find.  Alcohol sales in Rockport declined over the next decade and the town went dry.

We took the staircase to upper floor.

We enjoy the view & reminisce
about our 20th anniversary
dinner at a nearby table.

We lingered over a bottle of wine we brought with us because, in 1998 Rockport was still a dry
town and diners could BYOB.
