Exploring the Architecture Scene in Downtown Nashville, Tennessee






Nashville is a study in
contrasts.






The sleek Marriott Hotel, scheduled to open in July,  represents Nashville's modern growth.  The Customs House, which opened in 1882, is a the city's link to its past.





Art Deco features attract
attention at Holston House.












Built in 1930, the former James Robertson Hotel is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.





This construction crane is a
 sign of Nashville's growth
& change.








The Grand Lodge of
Tennessee has
Neoclassical features.






was built in 1912.





First Baptist Church has a
long history in Nashville.

The church's fourth building 
was dedicated in 1970.









The Gothic Church Tower links the church's past to the congregation's current and future ministries.
