We Continue Our Drive Northeast to... Abbeville, Louisiana





We shared this section of
Sam's Club's parking lot
with a tractor trailer.




Today's drive continues
east on Interstate 10.




I am surprised that traffic
is so light in East Houston
at 8 am.

Eric just masterfully managed
our first Panic Stop.






I'm SO glad he was driving.





The Road Crew stopped traffic
without a Flagman to warn 
oncoming traffic.
They put themselves in danger while creating a traffic hazard in a 55 mile an hour zone.

We leave Interstate 10 at Crowley and drive southeast to Abbeville.





As we turn south onto Louisiana
Highway 13 , we join the






Driving through 
rural Louisiana...

Turning east onto
Louisiana Highway 14.















... & the Cajun Corridor.











allows boats to navigate 
the Vermilion Bayou.

We are parked at Site 16,
next to Betty's Party Room.







It's time to find Dave and Kathy and catch up with each other.  It's been two years...
