Visiting San Antonio's Christmas Tree in Travis Park

Travis Park is named for William B. Travis, commander and martyred defender of the Alamo.  San Antonio's Christmas Treeis in Travis Park this year.

White lights in the trees
make the Park feel like
a fairyland.

For locals, moving the Christmas Tree from Alamo Park to its current location is controversial.  The Christmas Tree has always been placed at Alamo Plaza

The 55 foot tall Christmas Tree
 attracts young & old.

H-E-B Grocery Stores continues
their 33 year sponsorship of the
San Antonio Christmas Tree.

family members
for photos.

I love visiting a Christmas Tree in short sleeves.  For many years, the Holiday Season in Upstate New York has been cold, and often snowy.
