Lunch at Sweet Potato Cafe in Stone Mountain, Georgia

Eric & I drive to nearby
Stone Mountain Village
for lunch.

Sweet Potato Cafe is located in
a house on Manor Drive.

A painting of a Sweet Potato
has a place of honor above
the fireplace.

A comfy couch...

Two can sit at the
counter, near the
kitchen.

An old wooden ironing board
is being used as a table.

The decor is warm
& homey.

We chose Sweet Potato
Hummus for our
appetizer.
Yum!  I want to find a recipe and bring this tasty hummus to parties and Potluck Dinners.

Eric's SPC Southwest Salad
has Sauteed Sweet Potatoes,
Corn, Black Beans, Onion,
Jalapeno Peppers with a
Pita Bowl.

My Roasted Sweet Potatoes &
Orange Salad includes
Mixed Greens & Feta Cheese.

Eric and I enjoyed our salads and talked the Chef's tasty combinations.  The Sweet Potato needs to make it into more dishes in our home.

I thank Chef Karen Patton
for her culinary artistry.
Karen shared the Cafe's farm to table, locally sourced foods philosophy with me.  In addition to healthful eating, the Sweet Potato Cafe showcases Stone Mountain's locally grown foods.
