A C-C-Cold Day at Kissimmee Prairie Preserve State Campground

Eric goes out in windy 39 degree weather to hitch a ride on a Swamp Buggy

David Simpson, a Premier  Florida Birding Guide, takes groups out for two plus hours to look for wildlife.

Eric told me later that today was David's coldest tour ever....  He and the group saw some birds, not lots, and some deer.  David s explained the Prairie Ecosystem to his fellow adventurers and the state's efforts to return former pastures to its native  habitat.

I stayed behind and walked around the campground when it warmed up some.  The constant wind was cold at 42 degrees.  I'm glad Eric was well dressed for today's conditions.
