Exploring Rodman Campground in Palatka, Florida

Rodman Campground is one
of Florida's 123 state
campgrounds.

Florida campgrounds allow campers to stay for two weeks at a time.

The entry gate locks
at 6:00 pm.

Campers are given
the code for late
entries.

Eric & I have a quiet
campsite under the
trees.

We have water and electric services here.  There is no line of site to TV satellites with our DirecTV dish.  Cell coverage is OK, not great and internet service is available, but also not great.

... across from the Cross

There are 26 primitive
campsites available
for tenting.

Thirty-eight campsites have water and electric hookups.

This RVer came with a
boat & Jeep.

I think the entire length
is about 70 feet.

Trailers are popular at
this campground.

There are large fields here.

Bring your own game
equipment & make
your own fun.

One of two bath rooms
with showers.

The bathrooms and showers are clean and well kept.

One of two sets of
washers & dryers

Cost: $1.50 per load

The Boat Launch

is a popular place
for boaters.

Three White Ibises stroll
near the water.

No swimming with, feeding
or teasing the Alligators.

Dispose of broken
fishing line here.

Manatees & other
wildlife depend
on your diligence.

Nearby picnic
pavilions

RVs dump their tanks
at the end of their
stay.

Rodman Campground is a very nice place to spend two weeks.
