Celebrating the Anniversary of Our First Date at Mr. Pio Pio in Albany, New York

Yesterday's Sunday Times Union had a wonderful write up on Mr. Pio Pio in Albany, just in time for Eric and me to celebrate the 41st anniversary of our first date.

We love Hispanic foods and look forward to trying Ecuadorian food.

Mr. Pio Pio is located on
Quail Street.

This is a neighborhood
lunch & dinner spot

Eat in, or take out.

The dining area
is small.

Eric & I are seated in
 the back corner.

The perfect place for an
intimate lunch.

Mr. Pio Pio has an
extensive menu.

Eric noticed that there
are no tacos, fajitas
& burritos here.

That's fine by us.  We are here to explore South American cuisine.

Our server took this
photo for us.

Eric ordered The Feast: A quarter rotisserie chicken served with beans, rice, a fried plantain and salad.  He chose a Jarritos Pineapple soda to go with his meal.  My choice is Pechuga De Pollo Asado: grilled chicken served with beans, rice and a salad.  I'm a bit less adventurous than Eric...
I ordered a Diet Pepsi.

Eric and I reminisced...  Our lunches were muy bueno!
