The Sip & Stroll in Saratoga Springs, New York

Eric signed us up for the Sip and Stroll in Saratoga Springs.  There are twenty businesses participating in this three hour event.  Most are serving drinks.  A few are offering appetizers.  Two shops are offering specially priced items for the evening.

A portion of the proceeds from the event benefit Aim Services, Inc., an organization providing support and services to people with developmental disabilities and traumatic brain injuries. 

Our first stop is the Winners
Circle at Gaffney's for
Wine Spritzers.

The Parting Glass Pub

The bartender wasn't checking the entire bar for customers...  We finally got our drinks.

I ordered a Shandy & Eric chose
Peanut Butter & Jelly Beer.

The Breaded Chicken Wings
were great!

Neither one of us liked the Peanut Butter Beer.

Eric & I strolled to Dango

 Fitzgeralds Irish Sports Bar

& Steakhouse.

They were pouring

Again, the bartender was not very watchful.  Eric decided to skip the shot he wanted and we continued our stroll.

Phila Fusion was our

next stop.

We were welcomed by the hostess and shown to the bar.  Phila Fusion is offering White Wine, Red Wine and Hot Sake this evening.

Eric & I chose the Hot Sake.

It was a welcome change
from beer.

Eric ordered a bottle

of Sayuri.

Nigori, creamy unfiltered

Sake, is served chilled.

We thanked the bartender and continued our stroll...

... to Peabody's Sports 
Bar & Grill.

Vegetables.... So good!






We chatted with Crystal, the bartender, as she made drinks.  The evening was getting busier, and she made sure she had time for customers.

Eric & I walked to

Bailey's Cafe. 

As we sat at the bar, I
admired the "tin ceiling"
& Tiffany lamp shades
reflected in the mirror.

were served in Saranac

The Sip and Stroll was a fun way to explore "new to us" restaurants and bars in Saratoga Springs. Eric and I will be visiting Philo Fusion, Peabody's Sports Bar, and a few other watering holes the next time we are in Saratoga Springs.
