Our Drive Northeast to Frankfort, Kentucky

It's time to close up the
motorhome & hit
the road.

We are driving a "new
to us" section of
Interstate 40 East.

WIDE LOAD...

The cargo hangs over the
edge of the trailer.

The Nashville skyline

I love this sign!

The Periodic Table is a great
way to advertise the

Welcome to Kentucky.

The Corvette Museum in
Bowling Green unexpectedly
hosted a sinkhole in
August 2015.

Just another day on
the road....

Mowing crews groom
the wide median on
this divided highway.

Turn down the bright
yellow, please!

Hardin County Water District
water tower

This barn has an Amish
Quilt square decoration
above its doors.

This unique building is
the Corvette Museum.

Eric & I will visit at
another time.

Cattle graze near
a house.

Cranes loom above this
work zone.

We are east driving on
the Martha Layne Collins
Blue Grass Parkway.

I wonder how much dynamite
was used to blast this mountain
to build the Bluegrass Parkway.

The Walmart in Frankfort
allows us to spend the
night in their parking
lot.

It looks like rain...
