The Sunset Cometh... To Southwestern Arizona

Eric looked out one of our motorhome's windows, turned to me and said, "Get your camera. Tonight's sunset is going to be awesome."






The clouds are a
brilliant pink.
The western sky stretches out before us.  






It changes as I
take pictures.




Eric likes the oval blue
patch of sky that appears
to float among the clouds.



 



Orange joins the color
palette.







Red sky at night, sailor's
delight....

    There were several great sunsets while we were in Quartzsite. Merikay has been a dedicated sunset photographer since we were in the Florida Keys in 2014. The Keys are the only place that can give Arizona real competition for excellent sunsets.
