The Spaceport America Visitor Center in Truth or Consequences, New Mexico

The Spaceport America Visitor
 Center Truth or Consequences
is located in the Lee Belle
 Johnson Building.

The former Senior Center was built with Works Progress Administration funding in 1938.

The building also houses the
Geronimo Trail National
Scenic Byway Visitor
Center.

Sit  & plan your
visit.

Eric & I walk through the
doorway to earn about
Spaceport America.

The commercial space venture is located on County Route AO21, about an hour southeast of Truth or Consequences.  General admission for Spaceport America's four hour tour is $49.99 for adults and $29.99 for youth, ages 18 and under.

Apparently, transportation to Spaceport America is part of the admission fee.  People who drive to Spaceport America on their own are not allowed on the property.

Spaceport America's mission
is to enable affordable,
efficient, effective access
to space.

Hands on learning activities
to educate Spaceport
America visitors.

This space is also available
for group events.

Planes & rockets made
from common household
items decorate the wall.

Visitors shop &...

leave with souvenirs.

We're too late to buy tickets to tour Spaceport America today.  I emailed myself a note to add the tour to our next trip to New Mexico.
