Walking Around Historic Taos, New Mexico





Historic Taos dates to 1540.

Captain Alvarado & conquistadors
of the Coronado Expedition were
the first Spaniards in this valley.









This section of the town teems with galleries, shops and restaurants.  Metered parking is 50 cents an hour Monday through Saturday, and is free on Sunday.
