Touring The Ranch Escapees Co-Op Park in Lakewood, New Mexico

Today, Eric & I tour
The Ranch Escapees
Co-Op Park in
Lakewood.

Since 2013, we have visited Rainbow's End in Livingston, Texas; Saguaro Co-Op in Benson, Arizona; KOFA Ko-Op in Yuma Arizona; Pair-A-Dice in Parump, Nevada and Evergreen COHO in Chimacum, Washington.  Each Escapees resort has RV lots for
sale or lease from time to time. Eventually, Eric and I will be spending months in one place, and Escapee parks are an option....

The entrance looks like any
cattle ranch, including the
 cow guard.

Jan, the Office Manager
gave us a tour of The Ranch.

The Ranch House has a
community room, kitchen,
craft room & library.

The Corral is for campers
spending the night with no
hookups.

The Dump Station

The streets are wide.

Residents have spacious lots.

Eric and I chatted with several residents.  This is a very friendly Escapee park.

This casita looks like
a barn.

Casitas have electricity and no plumbing.  If they had plumbing, each lot would be taxed as a home. Currently, the casitas are taxed as "sheds."  Trust me, these "sheds" are very homey dens, many with lots of electronics.

The Air Gun Shooting Range and Dog Park are on this end of The Ranch.

As Eric and I anticipate an evolving RV lifestyle, we will continue to look at Escapee
RV Parks.

  1. Have you ben to Jojoba Hills in California? It is the BEST SKP park! The most expensive, but the best!
