Exploring the Anderson Museum of Contemporary Art in Roswell, New Mexico

First, a little bit of back story...  The Roswell Artist-in-Residence Program began in 1967.

The Anderson Museum of
Contemporary Art purchases
Roswell Artists-in-Residence
& displays them in its
nine galleries.

Eric & I study On Borrowed
Time & see numerous
environmental issues in
this colorful painting.

I enjoy the mix of
mediums in this
gallery.

Visitors can sit and enjoy conversations while taking in the selected artwork.

I LOVE Revolving
Door.

A panoramic shot of one of the galleries

Lucky the Immortal reminds
me of The Beatles' Sargent
Pepper's Lonely Heart's Club
Band cartoon.

Eric in the Joseph Carl
Anderson Gallery

Of the Garden
is delicately
beautiful...

Don Anderson's
Sinai

Poker has Dali-esque
characteristics.

The Panther on the Wilson Bend
 is a highly detailed mixed
 media piece.

Eric plays the
Cascabel.

Soul Service Center
has a sense of
whimsy.

Rocket Trailer
"explores" space...

This retired librarian is
delighted to spend time
with Book.

Eric and I got our Contemporary Art fix and are ready to explore more of Roswell.
