Visiting the Farmington Public Library in Farmington, New Mexico

The Farmington Public
Library...

... was built in 2003.

The public participated in the planning for the library.  This circular kiva style building reflects Navajo culture and spirituality.  It has many welcoming and well used features.

The Farmington Public Library won New Mexico's Best New Buildings awards for Interior and for Best Lighting awarded by Associated General Contractors New Mexico Building Branch and New Mexico Business Journal in 2004.
