Using RV Services at the Flying J in Western Albuquerque, New Mexico

Besides topping off the
motorhome's fuel tank,
we are dumping grey &
black water tanks at the
 Flying J in western

We are also replenishing
our fresh water tank.

I paid for the dump service here at Flying J with our RV Plus Card and got the code to unlock the dump station.  With our RV Plus Card, we pay $5.00 for this service.  People without the card pay $10.00 to dump their tanks.

Eric dumped the tanks and prepared to move the motorhome to another fuel lane.  There's no fresh water source at this RV fueling lane.  (RV fuel lane services vary from one Flying J to another.)

Eric noticed that the truck lanes have potable water and there was an open lane.  This is an amenity I hadn't seen before in our travels.

I hooked up our fresh
water hose to the
potable water spout.

Eric flips the switch in our
water bay to "Fill Water
Tank."

I watch the fresh water
gauge while Eric tops
off our fuel tank.

An RVer is weighing
this motorhome at the

As we pull out of the fuel lane,
I see a motorhome tucked in
among the tractor trailers.

Eric and I are now ready for two weeks of boondocking around northern New Mexico.
