Heading South to Dickson City, Pennsylvania for the Big RV Show

The day's drive started out dreary.

An Amish horse & buggy travels
along the road.

The owner chose not to put
an orange triangle on the
 back of the buggy

We are headed southwest
toward NY Route 5.

The sky brightens as we
drive south.

We are driving south on

I admire this old,
unpainted barn.

I point out bee hives at
the edge of a field.

This one lane bridge is
in the middle of
bridge construction.

Workmen standing on the
rebar bridge decking.

Concrete will cover the rebar.

Occasionally, we pass a
house sitting close to
the road.

I think this is a late

A roadside
Pumpkin Stand

One of the many rural
cemetdries Eric & I
drive past.

Tall Pines Campground
in Bainbridge

Eric takes a picture of the
Pennsylvania sign while
I drive south on
Interstate 81.

I pulled into the Flying J
in New Milford.

I wait to fuel behind an old
fifth wheel & a food truck
that sells Elephant Ears &

Pennsylvania sells
fireworks.

New York started selling
them in 2014 after many
years of prohibition.

This is an interesting setup...

Two cranes connected by a
cable with suspended augers.

We arrive in Dickson City,
northeast of Scranton.

We are spending the night
at a Walmart before
continuing on to Hershey.
