What's Going On With the States We've Visited Map? Connecticut & Rhode Island Aren't Colored In.

Eric and I just visited the state capitols in Rhode Island and Connecticut, yet those states are not colored in and counted as visited.  What's up with that?

When Eric and I started RVing full-time in April, 2012, we established two rules for counting a state as visited.  We must spend at least one night in a state AND do an activity...  Go to a museum, a state capitol, a brewery, visit family or friends, etc.  Eric and I went to Rhode Island and Connecticut for day trips and returned to our campground in Brimfield, Massachusetts.

According to the rules Eric and I set up for state visits,  Rhode Island and Connecticut require overnight stays.  I hope to return to Rhode Island  and Connecticut the next time we are in New England for at least one night, do something fun and "officially: count them as visited.

Hey Eric, let's do the Cliff Walk in Newport, Rhode Island, and maybe visit Mystic, Connecticut.
