Parking in the Toledo Museum of Art Parking Lot

The Toledo Museum of Art's renovated parking lot has shaded parking beneath a solar panel array.

Our car will stay cool as the
 solar panels' collected energy
 provides electricity to the
museum.

On a sunny day, energy from
these solar panels provide
half the electricity the Toledo
Museum of Art uses in one day.

I like the shaded sidewalk
beneath the awning.

Charging sources are available
for electric cars here.

I've seen shaded parking in Texas and have thought that using solar panels to collect the sun's energy and shade cars would be very efficient.   I'm happy to see this configuration in use.
