Continuing Our Drive North on Hatteras Island, North Carolina

Multi-story homes
dot the shoreline.

We will be on the
lookout for Deer.

This house has a bold
color combination.

Gas & Diesel prices are about
50 cents higher per gallon
on the barrier islands.

A Cormorant sits on a piece
of wood in a pond near
the lighthouse.

US Route 12 runs between
sand dunes & power poles
planted on the leeward
side of the island.

Dirty Dick's Clam
House in Avon

I am reminded of Nights in
as we drive by this sign.

A house with solar panels.

This is the perfect place
to take advantage of
solar power.

Enchantingly Yours,

To the west, we see land
across a channel.

We enter Pea Island

Two people walk
across a sand dune.

Bridge spans the

We see the Bowdie Island
Lighthouse in the distance.

There's a lot of money tied
up in the boats in front of
 houses & condos.

Eric & I are spending  the night
boondocking at Manns Harbor
Access Area.

We found this spot using
OvernightRVParking.com.
