The Georgia Visitor Center in Plains, Georgia

The Georgia Visitor Center
in Plains, Georgia

Visitors are welcome to
sit on the porch...

.... and watch Trumpeter Swans
& Canada Geese swim in
the pond.

The Information Desk

Because Plains is the home of
former President Jimmy Carter,
& a popular place to visit, the
Visitor Center has brochures
for all of Georgia.

Visitors see Peanuts
growing.

Brochures & Cotton

Cotton is Georgia's second largest cash crop.

Different regions of the
 state are featured.

Penny pulls out a map and highlights places all over Plains for us to visit.  She offers to take a picture of us...

Eric & I sit in rocking chairs
beneath the Presidential
Seal.

Information on the Rosalynn

Here's the picture Penny
took of us with
President Carter.

We had a great visit with Penny and are now ready to explore Plains.  Our next stop is the Plains High School Museum and Visitor Center.
