This is the old arsenal.

Originally built in 1799, the arsenal was seized by Union troops in 1861.  It now houses the Visitor Center and Beaufort History Museum.

Eric and I left with brochures and postcards.  Beaufort has a lot to offer.  I look forward to touring the rest of the city.
