Dongs Debut Doggedly Dull Drive

Eric and I packed up our motorhome, hitched up the Jeep and stopped at the end of the Wilmington KOA driveway.  It's 8:23 am and the traffic is bumper to bumper.  Including our Jeep, we are 55 feet long.  The motorhome ins 12 feet 4 inches tall.  No one wants to be behind this behemoth because there's no way to see the traffic ahead,

Some teenagers noticed our Breaking Bad Bobble dolls while passing in front of the motorhome.  We waved back, and then....

The boy in the back seat
showed off his artwork.

Like all kids about 14, he
draws penises, lots of penises.

Watching me take pictures of his drawings just egged him on.

After 20 minutes, we see the cause
of the slow down...

A police car is involved in the
chain reaction rear end collision.

We are driving west to

Man, it's foggy....

It's a straight drive south

Our first sighting of a

We are enclosed by
bare trees.

South Carolina welcomes
us.

Thar be Jeeps on the
side of the road.

Eric has control of the
camera.

Hemmed in by pines.

Dutifully driving on a
doggedly dull day.

The orange tractor trailer
with orange wheel wells
is beautiful.

Georgia, the Peach State
welcomes us.

We are in a traffic jam with
three other RVs at Coastal
 Georgia RV Resort waiting
to register.

We end the day exactly how
it started.... jammed up.

It was truly a dull, foggy, grey day.  It's time to level the motorhome, put out the slides, hook up the electricity and eat some leftovers.
