Walking Around Roanoke Rapids, North Carolina

Barely three miles south of Gaston is the City of Roanoke Rapids.

The cornice work on
this building is simple
in design.

The old, abandoned
movie theater.

I like the ornamental
arches over the windows
on the Priced Right
Furniture Store.

Hair Haven is sandwiched
between two larger buildings.

Murals representing the
Museum are painted on
the side of the Sleepy

Masonic groups Widow's Son
No. 19, Emera Chapter No. 119 &
meet at this Masonic Hall.

 The First United Methodist
Church was built in 1918.

It was destroyed by fire on
January 26, 1967 & rebuilt
in 1968.

Perkinson's Gas Station
displays its Coat of Arms
on its sign.

Eric leans on a pole in front
of Christian Antioch Holiness
Church, next to Perry's Tax

The ornamental light poles
are decorated for
the holidays.

Next to Ryleigh's is My
Country Charm,
Ryleigh's mother's shop.
