Touring the Read My Pins Exhibit at the Franklin D. Roosevelt Presidential Museum


We were delighted to tour Madeline Albright's Read My Pins Exhibit at the Franklin D. Roosevelt Presidential Museum.






Madeline Albright  served as the US
Permanent Representative to the
United Nations from 1993 to 1997.

President Bill Clinton picked her to
serve as US Secretary of State
from 1997 to 2001.
Madeline Albright is known for her collection of pins.  She used pins to signal her hopes, determination, impatience or warm feelings in her dealings with world leaders.

people, as she spoke passionately
in favor of implementing the

Madeline Albright workd tirelessly to promote peace, human rights and democracy du ring her work in the United Nations and as Secretary of State.  Unspoken messages were sent, and received as she traveled the globe.
