North! to Yogi Bear's Jellystone Camp-Resort in North Hudson, New York

Our friends, Dave and Kathy, are camping at Yogi Bear's Jellystone Camp-Resort in North Hudson. We last met up in Quartzsite, Arizona last January,  There's so much to catch up on!  Dave and Kathy have been spending lots of time in Ontario, Canada this year and have information to share about camping in Provincial Campgrounds.  Eric and I collected brochures during our drive to Alaska for their upcoming trip to the far northwest,










Eric turns onto Maxon  Road
in Schenectady.











This empty gravel lot at the
end of Maxon Road was
the bars Eric took me to on
our first date on July 11, 1975.






We crossed the Mohawk
River and headed east.
















In Clifton Park, Eric turns
onto the Northway.











There is very little autumn
color along this highway.






The majority of trees in this are are pine.










78 miles to Plattsburgh &
141 miles to Montreal, Canada






The red, autumn leaves finally
make their appearance.

We enter the








Eric turns onto Exit 29
for North Hudson.






Frontier Town remains
abandoned.






This popular western themed amusement park has been in need of new owners for decades.







We turn into Yogi Bear's
Jellystone Park-Resort.











Dave is taking a movie
of our arrival.






After Eric and I set up the motorhome, we will join Dave and Kathy for lunch.
