Driving Southeast to Dawson Creek, British Columbia

It's about 9 pm when
we come across the
Bison herd.

This blurry critter is a
Red Fox with its dinner.

Taking pictures of a moving animal from a moving vehicle at dusk is proving to be
a challenge.

It's about 10:30 pm &
the fog is rolling in,
blanketing the Bison.

We pull into a turnoff to fix a bite to eat and get some sleep.

Eric starts driving at
8:15 am.

Shhhh,,,  Don't wake
 the Bison.

 I like the superstructure
of this bridge.

Muncho Lake is a delight
to photograph.

Copper oxide from surrounding
rocks leach into the lake,
giving it the bluish teal color.

Apparently, trucks have tipped
over on this curve.

Two Caribou graze at
the side of the road.

We wait to be sent forward,
into the construction zone.

I love big construction
trucks!

The road ahead beckons us.

We are alert for
wildlife.

I get pictures of the Moose
lumbering up the embankment.

We stop at the Fort St. John
Visitor Center in for information
on RV repair shops in the area.
The woman who works there is an RV owner and highly recommends Foster's RV and Trailer Sales in Dawson Creek.

It's time to park, eat &
review our "to do" list
