Our Stay at Chicken Gold Camp in Chicken, Alaska

Eric & I stayed at
Chicken Gold Camp
for two nights.

A metal chicken sculpture
sits on the rise above the
campground.

The signs are to other
places named Chicken.

The Office, Gift Shop
& Cafe

We chose a campsite without utilities.  There is water to fill tanks and a dump station.  Electric hookups include 20 and 30 amp service.  Free, limited Wifi was included with our $14.00 per night camping fee.

Pick up a beverage & a
light snack at the Office.

The Gift Shop has an interesting
array of souvenirs.

The Cafe serves breakfast,
lunch & dinner.

The campground's
showers

The campground's
outhouses.

Our mud flaps are doing
their job...

They are heavily caked with
road schmutz.

Our front cover kept dirt
 & stones out of the
radiator &off our headlights
.

The campground is about
two thirds full.

After settling in, it's time to
 take a walk around Chicken.
