Walking Around Downtown Vancouver, British Columbia

The City of Vancouver covers 44 square miles.  Eric and I will be getting a feel for the city as we walk around downtown.

A motorcycle cop
directs traffic..

We hear sirens &
 motorcycles speed by.

Followed by black
town cars

Eric thinks we'are watching a funeral procession.  They are travelling fast for a funeral cortege.

An SUV

Followed by what looks
like some sort of
tactical truck.

OK... OK...  This is some sort of government entourage complete with a mini SWAT Team.  The procession goes on and on until....

A police car speeds by
& the motorcycle cop
takes off.

The show's over.  Let's continue our walk.

for a store.

Eric pointed out the section
of the skyscraper that doesn't
conform to the rest of
the building.

Plaques for Canadian
stars on the sidewalk
in front of the Vogue.

Everyone's in a hurry...

Some people get around
Vancouver on scooters
& bikes.

A Canuck Flagging truck

lane closures.

We walk through a
construction area.

There's a lot going on in this small section of downtown.  I could spend the entire day hanging out here, but I won't.  We are headed across Burrard Inlet to spent time with Ilene.
