Our Drive to a Turnoff Four Miles South of Haines Junction, Yukon Territory, Canada

The day's drive starts out
under a cloud.

The mountains beckon us.

The Takhini Valley winds
east/west through the
Yukon Territory.

We are leaving the area
covered by 911.

I want to stop at
to see if they have WiFi.

They do.  Just ask for
 the password.

Originally built in 1903, it
  was rebuilt in 1942 &
restored in 1886 & 2005.

Always, there are new
mountains on the horizon.

Haines Junction has a
population of 840.

After spending a good part of the day in Haines Junction, we drove four miles outside of town to camp for the night at the Kluane Turnoff.

We are parked & the DirecTV
satellite dish is searching for
satellites at 8:30 pm.

It found satellites, but we
weren't able to watch shows.

Our view from our motorhome.
