Da Ku Cultural Center: The Must Visit Spot for Haines Junction & Kluane Natural Park in Haines Junction, Yukon Territory, Canada

We stepped into a climate controlled
room & got an in depth tour of the 
leather & bead work done by the
Champagne & Aishihik Native Peoples.








Our guide was proud to point out donations to the collection from her family members.








Beads were brought to the Yukon
 Territory by Russian traders.

The ceremonial capes on the wall
 are used at council meetings by
 the chief & members of the council.








This device measures the
humidity in the room.

Da Ku just opened.  There will be plantings and a picnic area for visitors to use during
