Driving on the Beach at Ocean Shores, Washington

Here's an vehicle access
point for the beach.

People are clamming.

According to the 2014 North Beach Visitors Guide, it's Razor Clam Season in Washington.  Razor Clam diggers are limited to harvesting the first fifteen clams they dig up, regardless of the condition of the clams. This is to ensure that Razor Clams aren't over harvested.

Previous drivers had fun
making circles in the sand.

A Bald Eagle scans the beach
from the safety of the dunes.

A fisherman is knee
deep in the waves.

There's a lot of driftwood
here, more than on Long
Beach, Peninsula.

We can drive only so far... Part of the beach is closed to cars from April 15 to September.
