Walking Around Duncans Mills, California

Duncans Mills is an unincorporated town of 85, just  five minutes from the Pacific Ocean.

Darn!  We're too early for
the Russian River Rodeo.

Duncans Mills was a source
of redwood for building
San Francisco in the late 1800s.

The Earthquake of 1906 leveled most of the town.

The State of California Parks
& Recreation District Office
is in the Railroad Depot
Freight Shed.

It was rebuilt in 1907.

This tiny town is within walking
distance of Duncans Mills

We have packages to
mail at the Post Office.

Sweets 'n Stuff is closed
this time of year.

& Tavern has weekly
 entertainment.

There are more shops
on the other side
of Route 116.
