Route 89.

for the next downhill run.

We arrive in the
Lake Tahoe Basin.

Mountains loom above us.

We are at 7,000 feet above
sea level.

We pass Sierra at

Tahoe Ski Lodge.

And we continue on
U.S. Route 50.

Sacramento is

 59 miles away.

And continue west
past a grazing horse.
