Eric bought a hummingbird

feeder, hanger & nectar.

Here's our first

hummingbird.

We have lots of visits from
this small ground feeder &
his friends.

I think it's a Dark-Eyed Junco.





Eric got bored because we aren't seeing a variety of birds.  He bought bird seed and then, things got interesting...

One squirrel...

bowl of bird seed Eric put out.

This Stellar's Jay claimed
a large patch of bird seed.





Eric is disappointed that we didn't see a Mountain Lion.  Signs are posted around the resort that Mountain Lions have been spotted in the area.  I won't let him leave raw meat out in hopes of a sighting.
