Where Does the Trash Go When Boondocking Near Quartzsite?

Eric and I have strategies for water conservation  and battery charging, but made no plans for the trash we generate while camping.  When we are in a campground, there are dumpsters available.  When we travel without stopping in a campground, we'll leave a small bag of trash at a gas station when we fuel up, leave a bag pf trash in a rest stop or at a Walmart.  What will we do while staying in the Quartzsite area?








The Transfer Station is
open Sunday - Wednesday.

Hours: 7:30 am to

2:30 pm

We found out that we
can leave trash without
paying a fee.

Larger items cost $10.00.

The other three days of the week, I'll double bag our refuse, and wait until Sunday morning.
