Don's Cactus Bar in Salome, Arizona

Eric told me about a bar with cactus walls in Salome, Arizona.  He has is it in the Points of Interest file on his GPS.  I want to see a bar with walls made of cactus.  Let's go...

Don's Cactus Bar

Here are the walls

of the Cactus Bar.

The insides of a dead

is wood.

Eric & I get Blue Moon Beers
with a slice of orange.

Eric got the larger size...

 I like the Tin Man to the

left of the TV.

There's a lot of money on

the ceiling & we ask the

 bartender about this.

Don's Cactus Bar is hosting a

Wounded Warrior Project

fundraiser.

The bartender folds Eric's

five dollar bill half, inserts a

tack, hands it to Eric with

 two quarters to stack on

the head of the tack.

Eric twists the five dollar bill,

as instructed.

Eric tosses our donation up
toward the ceiling....

It sticks!
This is a fun fundraiser!

We proudly display our

Wounded Warrior Project

magnet on our Jeep.

At the end of the month, the money is removed from the ceiling and sent to the Wounded Warrior Project.
