Our Drive to El Paso, Texas

A grey morning is broken
by this tree with attitude.

This is Tethered Aerostat Radar
used by the US Border Control
to track illegal alien entry &
 to combat illegal drug smuggling.

Cows graze...

We drive through Valentine

always on duty.

Just 86 miles to El Paso.

Ice covers the trees
& bushes.

We are entering

We leave the highway at

This is the end of the US
Fence with Mexico.

Cows graze in a field.

There are groves of
what kind of tree?

We don't know.

They are Pecan Trees.

We arrive at Cummins for
generator maintenance
appointment.

We will dry camp here and wait for our appointment.  Cummins has RV spaces available with 30 and 50 amp hookups.  We have a full tank of water and will do some exploring while we wait for our appointment.
