Food City in Cottonwood, Arizona

Another town, another
grocery store to investigate...
Food City

Bring your  jug & get water
 for 25 cents a gallon.

Food City is a Mexican
grocery store.

Bags of dried hot peppers &
corn husk wrappers for tamales.

The prices of fresh fruits and vegetables are low...  We bought a head of lettuce for 34 cents, a big bunch of celery for 89 cents.

Each section of the store
includes the Spanish name.

Nopalitos are foods
made with the prickly

Lots of Hispanic spices

Wine & liquor is sold here.

I like this store... Spanish music plays & is punctuated by announcements of sales,
also in Spanish.

This grocery store
has everything...

Meats are separated...
Poultry is Pollo.

Mexican sodas are displayed
in the frozen food aisle.

My favorite part of the
store... the Tortilleria

Food City is known for fresh,
 tasty tortillas & Hispanic
bread products.

The Bakery...
Panaderia

Hispanic cookies & treats

Greeting cards &
school supplies

Beans & hot sauce

Eric's ready to check out...
