Saguaro National Park.

hillsides, but prickly pear
cacti are everywhere!

close to the rod, on
the left.
Teddy Bear cholla are in
the foreground of this shot
with a saguaro.
We pass the Loma Verde
Trailhead.
This saguaro is perfectly
formed.
When saguaros die off the
woody center of the cactus
is exposed, like the saguaro
on the left of this picture.
