On to Langtry, Texas

We will be bumping along the Texas/Mexican Border.  Cell phone and internet connections will be sparse.  Let's see what the terrain is like in this part of Texas.

It's flat here.

I see hills in the distance.

This "hill" rises out of
the plain.

One of the few bends in
the road.

A gas station awning
blew down, probably
years ago.

The Pecos River

We are see a cave at the
 other side of the river.

This cut in the road
is accentuated by the
off road trails.

We pass through an

I imagine a posse tearing
across the plain.

We will stop at the

Post Office

We are parking for the night -
The roads are icy & snowy
west of here.
