West Virginia's State Capitol
was built in the 1920s.

It was designed by
Cass Gilbert.

The ribs of the dome are

World War II, the Korean War,
the Vietnam War.

The West Virginia State Capitol is beautiful, inside and out.  It is the people's house and represents the state's history and culture.
