The 53rd Annual Stockade Walkabout: The David B. Engleman House in Schenectady, New York

The David B. Engleman House
at 232 Union Street, built in 1899,
is now Studio 232.

Diane & Ron DeMeo
have boutique items
for sale.

Mr. Engleman was a partner in Engleman and Bellinger, a paint supplies manufacturing company.

The fireplace is stunning!

second floor

The Englemans decided on
very different fireplaces for
different rooms.

The illusion of the ceiling
floating is provided by the
coved plaster ceiling.

Doors were used to
build the fence in the
backyard.

The old, the new and the eclectic make this house unique.
