Being in the Right Place at the Right Time: Camping in the Winnebago Visitor Center in Forest City Iowa

After the windshields were replaced, we relocated to the Visitor Center Parking Lot.  Eric got a three day permit from the office and we have a 50 amp electrical connection.

Electrical connections are coveted at all times, but particularly in the summer.  RVs heat up as the day gets hotter and can become quite uncomfortable.

Eric was out walking after dinner and he happened to see this:

A mother deer with two fawns.  He wishes he had my camera with him.  The detail would have been  better. I'm glad he had his cell phone with him to take this picture.

I look forward to spending more time outside after we drive onto the Winnebago Rally Grounds.  This is our first Grand National Rally and we plan to do as much as we can to soak in the experience.
