North Carolina Transportation Museum: Powered Vehicles Take Off....

There's so much to see here.  For now, I'll stick to powered cars and trucks...









The 1918 Rauch & Lang,
model BX-7, Brougham
is electric powered.











4 cylinder, 15 horse power car 
with a top speed of 45 mph.







The steam powered car -
1901 Steam Stanhope
was manufactured by the
White Sewing Machine Co.









chassis was built in Salem, NC.








This 1923 Willys-Knight Model 67
Touring Car has a 4 cylinder
40 horsepower engine.









has a sliding three gear transmission.









Farmall Tractors were manufactured
by International Harvester.












was distinctive, but not a 
big money maker for Ford.














The 1961 Corvair Rampside Pickup
was innovative.









The 1967 Corvair was advertised
 for those who love driving.








The Melville Dairy Foods Truck
has been immortalized in a dye
cast model.




Of the cars and trucks on display here, these are the cars and trucks that I liked the best.
